The Pelltherm set is intended for burning wood pellets, and is designed for installation on VIADRUS U22 solid fuel hot water boilers.
Possibility of upgrading the burner and automatic wood pellet supply system to new or already installed VIADRUS U22 boilers. The Pelltherm set and the VIADRUS U22 hot water boiler form one functional unit intended for burning wood pellets. The operation of the “mini plant” is controlled by digital automatic control, which provides the user with safety and enviable comfort. The fan and electric heater located in the burner, guided by the regulation, automatically ignite the pellets and maintain the flame.
The degree of utilization in such a system does not lag behind oil or gas systems, and the fuel consumption in such a system is up to 40% lower than in fuel oil systems.
Pellet is a pressed wood residue with a moisture content of less than 10%, which gives it high energy efficiency.
The energy value of pellets is about 18 MJ / kg of pellets (5 kW / h).
Compared to the most common fuels:
2 kg of pellets ~ 1 liter of heating oil
1.85 kg of pellets ~ 1 m3 of natural gas
650 kg of pellets occupy 1 m3 of space
3 m3 of pellets ~ 1000 liters of heating oil
Pellet consumption 1 kg / h ~ 5 kW of power
Automatic regulation in pellet stoves and boilers puts pellets on an equal footing with fuel oil and gas. Furnaces automatically turn on and off, achieve and maintain the temperature assigned to them, and have automatic dosing. This gives them an advantage over wood heating or wood briquette.
They belong to renewable energy sources because they are made from wood residue that was once disposed of as waste, and today it is given added value in the form of pellets as a finished product.
The price of pellets is the lowest compared to other energy sources that can be used with automatically controlled stoves and boilers!
